Omega

Omega is a text-mode roguelike game that was unique and innovative in several ways, however its most-remembered trait is generally not considered to be a positive. The game’s positive elements include huge towns (which span larger than a single screen), wildernesses, multiple quests, and several different “win” conditions. The biggest negative is the inventory system, which is somewhat more realistic but also generally considered overcomplicated and unnecessary, having to perform several commands just to pick up and store an item. Nevertheless this is a complex and unique roguelike game that those who are willing to put up with the inventory system will want to check out.
