In the year 5012, the planet known as Abadox is eaten by a giant alien organism known as Parasitis. Once the planet has been consumed the alien sets out to eat other planets within the galaxy. The galactic military decides to send out their best fighter to attempt to enter Parasitis’ body and rescue Princess Maria before it is too late. You play as Second Lieutenant Nazal and you have to enter Parasitis and shoot your way through Abadox to find and rescue the princess. You then have to blast your way out of the alien’s rectum to safety. Abadox switches from side scrolling to vertical scrolling and you travel downwards rather than up. Abadox is known for being a very difficult shooter. If you die in later stages you lose all your power-ups, which can make things even harder than they already are.
