This is not to be confusesd with Apogee’s Dark Ages series. This is more a Dragon Warrior-style RPG. The plot is standard RPG fare: “A hero must arise to defeat the evil wizard, unify the land, and write a new legend.” It could be any RPG game, and although this game is simple and derivative, it does seem to work pretty well. Battles take place in a first-person perspective against the monsters. The graphics are passable (somewhere between NES and SNES I would say) and there are quests that you can/must complete in addition to the final quest to slay the evil wizard.
