Reality Ends

Reality Ends is a text-based adventure game for the TRS-80.

Reality has been shattered by the forces of the Citadel of Baldir, divided up into over 200 separate realities. The player must travel between realities to build an army strong enough to conquer the city of Margon to free the Amulet of Sangi. With the Amulet in hand, they can conquer Citadel of Baldir and reunite the realities. But, if the Citadel is not destroyed in 400 turns, reality will dissolve forever.

Taking place on a 17 x 12 grid, the player moves between realities by moving to different positions on the grid. Few of these locations have usable items, but the player must solve a number of inventory-based puzzles to solve the game. The player must overcome challenges including a starving dog, a fire-breathing dragon, angry Israeli arms merchants, and wild fanatics. All text entries are via VERB NOUN commands. There is a save and restore feature available.
